Scales and Tales!
Wednesday, June 10, 2015 First Baptist Preschool & Kindergarten received a very special visit from Scales and Tails Traveling Zoo run by Beth Wagner and Emilia Marchen, both professional animal trainers and handlers. Wagner and Marchen share their traveling zoo of rescued local and exotic animals with schools and learning centers throughout the state. During their visits they teach children about different kinds of animals, animal handling and safety, and the importance of caring for the environment. And they encourage their viewers to keep learning about the natural world around them. Their company is USDA licensed and insured to the same quality standards as a city zoo.
