Welcome to the new school year!!!
First Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten threw a big Back to School Block Party to welcome our new families as well as returning families back to the school for the new school year on Friday, August 28. Our children and their families enjoyed the live music of Nelson Gil, world-renowned Belizean musician and educator, filling the street with dancing, laughter, and good times shared by all. Children also enjoyed a pony ride and petting zoo right here on the church lawn!
A dinner of pizza and salad was served, and everyone loved the freshly made cotton candy as well as fancy balloon creations to be worn and played with. There was also carnival-style basketball games and the thrilling balloon popper pumps. Check out our vid below to see scenes from our Back to School Block Party!
