Dave Herzog's Marionettes: "Halloween Hi-Jink" 2018

October 24, 2018: When the weather gets cool outside and the trees turn to amazing fall colors - and the sniffles begin...it's a tradition at First Baptist PK to receive a special visit from Dave Herzog's Marionettes around this time of year! Just when we thought we were going to have to be quarantined in our classrooms for the rest of the school year!

Mr. Herzog is a renowned puppeteer in the Chicagoland area, hand-creating all of his incredible marionettes gracing the stages of Chicago's Emerald City Children's Theater, Navy Pier, and many, many others. His Halloween-themed marionettes perform songs, dances, stunts - such as walking the tight rope, skating, performing on the trapeze, and of course - flying. Just a few of his key character creations include: Wally the Basset Hound, Patches the Tramp Clown, Bruin Hilda, Purple People Eater, mad scientist Boris von Puppenspiel, and many others!
