Thanksgiving Family Feast 2017

Around this time of the year it is a tradition at First Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten (FBC PK) to celebrate our families by throwing a huge Family Feast! We provide the main course: the turkey (of course!), and down-home sides: stuffing, greens, mashed potatoes - don't forget the gravy! The rest of the Feast consists of generous contributions from our families: a plethora of pies, incredible vegetable sides and salads, drinks, and some amazing international dishes - that let us get to know about the countries some of our members are from through their shared cuisines.

This year the school gym was filled with around 200 people on Friday, November 17, breaking bread as a community for this celebration. Our meal and the event was blessed by Pastor Parker of First Baptist Church, and we all sang America the Beautiful led by FBC PK school Music Director, Ms. Mary Lee. A HUGE THANK YOU to Ms. Mary Lee who organized the amazing team of First Baptist Church volunteers who made this event possible and for all her work with the children of the school!

THANK YOU - to our families who attended the Thanksgiving Family Feast 2017, for breaking bread with our school community, and for your generous, and world-class contributions to the Feast! We are very grateful for your presence in our community!
